Surfers Beat Papparazi in McConaughey’s Name

Who doesn’t like seeing Papparazi getting mauled and being someone’s *****? Personally, even if I don’t know how it feels to be followed and harassed wherever you go, it’s the blatant violation of privacy I can empathize celebrities with, so I enjoy seeing someone pull off a Sean Penn once in a while.
Hollywood actor Matthew McConaughey was the cause of a recent tussle with Papparazi. Though this time it’s not him who dished out the beating, it was his surfing buddies who went to town and got carnal on the photo-hog’s asses. A group of them came up to some Papparazi, where they were trying to shoot the actor while surfing near Paradise Cove, and asked them to stop filming and shooting. After an argument, things got physical which caused one photographer to be injured (another reported to have received a broken nose), as the surfer dudes threw their cameras to the water afterwards.
“[The surfers] formed a semicircle in front of his camera and they said [McConaughey] didn’t want him to film,” said Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department spokesman Steve Whitman while being interviewed by the Los Angeles Times. The cops are still investigating what exactly went down during the brawl, while McConaughey’s people are still keeping a tight upper lip.
