How to Hire Without All The Paperwork

For start-up businesses or small businesses.

How much time do you have to hire employees, find for them benefits and insurance? Do you have time consuming payroll? Now what if the paperwork, research and legal fees are a thing of the past? Where does one start when it comes to human resources? What about disciplinary actions? What if this all took you the time it takes to write a check!

When you start a new business or your business is still small, the only goal in mind is to keep your head above water and promote like crazy. You must make sure your clients are completely satisfied with your products or services. If you do not have the time to manage your employees, and managing your staff means wasted money on time you could have used to produce, you need to find an alternative.

That is what happened to my company. I knew that my executives needed every edge to make it on the business scene. Yes, we knew we would have a time at it, finding new employees, training them, managing the paperwork, research the employee laws and so on. There had to be a better way. I research many solutions and finally found a company that for us was a god send. They were an exceptional company called MarketStaff in Chicago that has a simple but very effective and useful product.

You see,MarketStaff assumes the legal responsibility and administrative burden of payroll, payroll taxes, and employee benefits. In addition, MarketStaff's human resource administrators provide staffing, policy writing, labor relations, bookkeeping and personal bill paying services as requested. As a client you no longer process your payroll or pay your accountant to do so.

You write one check per month to cover the cost of your payroll, which is tax deductible as a labor expense. You have the flexibility of paying your employees weekly, bi-weekly or monthly by check or direct deposit. They also provide same-day payroll to accommodate bonus or quarterly checks. MarketStaff administrators handle worker's compensation and unemployment matters along with insurances and other business issues. MarketStaff personnel work with terminated employees to place them quickly in the workplace, often within MarketStaff's pool of employees. Employees are assigned an in-house benefits administrator who works closely with our insurance company and routinely handles all benefits issues directly with employees.

No more payroll, legal issues or taxes. Rather all the paperwork as they handled everything for us and they can even find people to hire, do background checks and more. This has been a very useful resource that not only gives us incredible amount of time to put into our business but because they are very well versed in employment laws and have their own resources; we go home at night knowing that our people are very well taken care of.

At first when I started hiring staff we had an enormous concern that we were getting into something over our heads. As we get larger and our needs increased we realized we needed sales staff, managers, specialized techs, admin personal and we needed to find these people and quickly. What was worse was there was very little help to know where to find all the work-men's comp laws and red tape in hiring employees and other legal issues.

Not a problem. I can safely say its been a hassle free relationship and at a small fee, very well worth it! One scenario we recently dealt with is a hiring a staff member from outside the USA. There were background checks and a slew of citizenship visas we needed to contend with that MarketStaff easily handled. One perk I especially like are the benefits and insurances MarketStaff offer our staff. There are many options that a staff member can choose from. Anything BeechTek doesn't offer can be offered at the employee's expense.

Saving money, reducing costs, increasing production, establishing and maintaining relationships and what does this all mean? Making profits and getting one more step ahead of the game.

When it comes down to it you can do things the hard way or do it the easy way. This does not mean after you have established yourself and stabilize your company you cannot have your own HR department. But the real question to ask, "Would I actually lose money or make money from managing my HR department?" You are still the boss, any disciplinary actions goes through MarketStaff. You can now focus on other things!
