There have been tons of articles, books, and ePublications spouting this subject, but there are usually six attributes that have always shown up in content that relates to what a girl finds attractive in a guy. They are:

1. excitement

2. intelligence

3. self confidence

4. sense of humor

5. status

6. style

Excitement –

this offsets the fact that life can get boring with lots of women. So be a hero and challenge that boredom factor with charisma and excitement whenever you can bring those to the table. Spontaneity is a good thing. It keeps the relationship fresh. Tell her not to make any plans for the weekend. And when she asks “why?”, simply say that she’ll find out. Keep her hanging a little. Curiosity breeds excitement within her, so when you arrive at that secluded mountain cabin, with the hot tub on the deck and all the rest of its romantic amenities, she’ll be in heaven.

Intelligence –

Smart is sexy. Women have the tendency to be attracted to men who are intelligent, as well as repulsed by guys who are just a dim bulb. Of more importance than the physical intelligence factors are the emotional ones. Women key in on this trait and if you’re lacking in the emotional intelligence quota, they will sense that right out of the chute.

Self-confidence –

This is probably the single most important attribute that you can have. Women are experts at reading a man’s body language, and the first thing she will notice is whether you have enough self-confidence to negotiate or even control social situations when they arise. Your insecurities are what will stand out with your body language if you lack the self-confidence she needs her man to possess.

Sense of humor –

Being adventuresome and humorous will help get your foot in the door nearly every time with that special someone you’re attracted to, provided all these other attributes come along with the package. Again, this is one of those attributes that take care of the boredom issue. Does it mean that you always have to be the life of the party? No, but you do need to be able to take criticisms and jokes with a smile.

Status –

Being in a powerful position or being a strong leader has always appealed to women. It’s just how they have evolved throughout the centuries. The ability to survive combined with substantial resources (a.k.a. assets) will get you a significantly higher emotional rating with a woman than if you are lacking in these areas. Not all women are asset-conscious, they just want security both emotionally and physically.

Style –

Last but not least is your overall appearance on the outside. You may be the best person out there --- big hearted, caring, kind, and passionate --- but if it doesn’t appear to her that you care about how you look, you are dead in the water, pure and simple. Women will go to the most meticulous of extremes to look the best that she can, no matter what kind of a social setting she is in. So why shouldn’t you?
